New camera fun

So Jes and I have been talking about getting a good camera for a long time. I would LOVE to use it more, potentially to take kids/family pictures for others. I know I have a LOT of work to do to get there. Regardless, the point and shoot just does not do our kids justice at all. I gave him the task of doing the research (he is a master at this...thank GOD because the anxiety of this would put me over the edge). He found a great price on a Nikon, so here we go! I am SO excited to see the results to come! Here are some of the first!

Outside beauty

These were taken shortly before Evelynn's birthday. Beautiful beautiful pictures. I cannot hardly believe how fast they grow. You blink, I am not kidding, blink and they are huge! More updates to come...sorry for the delay!

Duplicate, but this was the picture used for her invitation...

zoo with Kelly

Not that we need any excuse to go to the zoo, we love the place (even if we are just there for forty-five minutes), but when Kelly comes to town, yay! Something to do, because, sorry Wichita (I do love you most of the time), there is not a lot to do in this town compared to others. It was a BEAUtiful day, and hardly anyone was there! This a RARE ordeal for sure. And we soaked it up for sure.

This picture took FOREVER to take because of being distracted by a sheep that got loose ;)

Nearly perfect picture...

Should have done hers first ;)

She was hungry, and she needed to show us where!

First try with strawberry milk! It should make an appearance in any child's life!

I'd say it was a winner!

And the aunt fed her fruit snacks...she reminds me of a baby bird ;)

LOVE this face...if only you could hear the noise that accompanies it as she inhales and exhales quickly at the same time...ha!

Imitating her sister

She finally likes feeding them! This one too, to hear the hilarious, loud, deep voice of this girl...makes my heart melt!

First experience with the drinking fountain.

Evelynn 11 months

Some old but good fun with Evelynn. She got stuck under this seat for quite awhile...we enjoyed just watching her try to worm her way out...turning this way and that ;)

She does not get upset very often, and because of that, we are able to appreciate the cuteness of the few times she does get upset. We will miss even this I am sure!

She loves playing with anything that is not a toy! We might as well rid of all toys! She would be perfectly content I am sure...carseat, boxes...

KC with Jen

We are MADE for relationships. This is a fact, and I suffer without them. I love my family, and they help this need a lot, but still, I need my friends too. I feel myself sinking without them. While attending college at Benedictine, it was a WONDERFUL place for relationships. All my friends lived together in the dorms. We would walk around the dorms at all hours if we needed a good chat (or sometimes maybe just wanted to procrastinate ;). Now, being so far from so many people that truly touched my life in ways I am newly grateful for every day, I LOVE opportunities to be able to meet up with friends. Jen (eh hem) called and said we needed to get together one particular weekend, and it was do or die for her ;) So, Jes covered for me on the homefront, and us girls took off. It truly was an adventure ;) always is with us, we seem to get caught in all the wrong places every time we're together, but oh the memories we have to tell! I was blessed to get to see Abby again too!

In love with the fountains :)

And Evie will do just about anything to be near water! I couldn't keep her in my arms any longer.

And here was her experience ;)

We went to the T-Rex restaurant. This was a first, and an AMAZING experience! Gianna was not nearly as afraid of the moving dinosaurs as I thought she would be! Perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel?!

Ummm, this was a CHILDREN's portion of pudding...luckily my little one knows self-control and stopped when she was full, shortly after this bite...
